What locations do you service?
Answer:
Question:
Of course! This is one of my favorite parts of being a Lake Tahoe wedding photographer. I spend hours exploring hidden places, scouring google maps, and doing research on amazing and secluded spots to share with you. In fact, a lot of the couples that I work with don't have a spot picked out yet when they reach out. Once you book your date, I would be happy to share all the location information with you and help you pick a wedding ceremony location that's perfect for you and your partner.
Can you help us find a location?

Question:
I spent the majority of my photography career in Southern California, capturing family portraiture and live events in the beautiful Los Angeles sun. For many years I had been working in portraiture, corporate photography, and live events. My portfolio consists of photography for brands like Rooftop Cinema Club, Small Island Big Song, The Aldrin Family Foundation (Apollo 50th Gala), Lucidity Events, SXSW, and more.
In 2018, my partner and I decided it was time for a change of scenery. We moved from the city to the Sierra Nevada mountains, specifically South Lake Tahoe. It is so different from everything that I had known, and I love the wildness of the forest. We love to hike and explore the beautiful nature surrounding us. That was when I decided to expand my photography service to couples planning their own Lake Tahoe elopement or wedding and share this beauty with them on their special day.
How did you get into Lake Tahoe wedding photography?
Answer:
Question:
One of the best things any couple planning a destination wedding in Lake Tahoe can do is explore all the cool spots on both the Nevada and California side to get a feel for the area. Hike around Lower Eagle Falls, take the Gondola at Heavenly to experience the view, and talk with the locals to soak up everything Lake Tahoe has to offer. This is especially important for couples eloping in Lake Tahoe. By exploring the area you will understand what style of wedding shoes you should have (no heels!), and how dirty the wedding dress might get. Remember, a little dirt on the dress is well-worth amazing photos so trust your Lake Tahoe wedding photographer!

Kimmi was great to work with! After our initial consultation, we felt very comfortable hiring her as our photographer. She was very knowledgeable about South Tahoe and easy to talk to about what we wanted for our day. The day of the wedding our families were very impressed and kept asking where we found her. They mentioned that she was calm, confident and organized - all great qualities you want in your photographer!
My husband and I had a September wedding in Oregon and were super fortunate to have Kimmi as our photographer. She has a very artistic eye and is a stealthy ninja that you won't even notice is there (if that's what you desire; we did). Kimmi did not allow the overcast weather to ruin our photos. Working with her even before the wedding was great! She is very thorough and responsive. Kimmi even thinks of things you probably wouldn't! Oh, and did I mention she travels?

Located in the Sierra Nevada mountains, the town of South Lake Tahoe is quickly becoming one of the most popular destinations for outdoor adventurous couples to get married. Whether it is an intimate elopement at Emerald Bay Lake Tahoe or an extravagant event at Edgewood Tahoe, there are few places that are more magical than the glittering waters of Lake Tahoe. The best outdoor Lake Tahoe wedding locations include popular spots such as King’s Beach, D.L. Bliss State Park, Sand Harbor State Park, Emerald Bay State Park, and Eagle Rock Trail.
