Twenty Mile House is a stunning and secluded private eco-estate located in Graeagle, California. With exclusive use of the spectacular eco-estate during their wedding day, couples and their guests are transported back in time at an old 1800’s stage coach stop against the backdrop of beautiful mountain skies, magnificent gardens and the beautiful middle fork of the Feather River. Twenty Mile House was built in 1894 and was originally a stop for workers on the Reno-Quincy run, as well as a trading post for gold miners. It received its name from being 20 miles west of Beckworth and 20 miles east of Quincy, making it a popular midpoint destination for travelers. In 1991 it became the wedding venue it is today.
With exclusive use of a stunning 200 acres of lush forest, gardens and creeks as their setting, couples can accommodate up to 225 guests on the estate. Twenty Mile House specializes in all-inclusive eco-friendly weddings. You’ll have your choice of garden, forest, and riverfront settings as a backdrop for your rustic and sustainable wedding. This venue provides caterers who specialize in organic, local gourmet cuisine. Couples can choose from hors d’oeuvres, buffet, plated, family style or stations for their meal. For lodging, Twenty Mile House offers the main house and three on-site cabins for the couple and their wedding guests. The Trackside Cabin offers secluded accommodation which abuts Jackson Creek and the lush forest. The Northfield Cabin offers a spacious mountain retreat with room for six guests, perfectly suited for a family or group to spend quality time together. This cabin is ideal for bridesmaids or groomsmen. Lastly, the Creekside Cabin is a favorite for the bride and groom. Hidden in the forest with a King Bed amidst floor to ceiling windows, it doesn’t get any better than this cabin with privacy and a spectacular view. The Mountain View Escape Log Home is a stunning 3 bedroom custom log home with an expansive deck boasting mountain and river views, as well as an outdoor fireplace.
