Constructed in 1924, Valhalla features hardwood floors and French doors that open onto a pine porch. From there, a short flight of stairs transports guests onto the Grand Lawn where they can enjoy an al fresco celebration under giant pines. Often described as tranquil, serene and magical, couples are invited to say “I do” in the comfort of Valhalla’s gorgeous historic lodge and then dine outside under the old-growth pine trees. The lakefront lawn slopes down to the historic boathouse, dock and natural beach, which provides couples with outstanding, scenic settings for wedding day photoshoots.
Plus, the venue’s rich history only adds to its appeal. Valhalla’s Grand Hall is located on the Tallac Historic Site which held the title of the “Grandest Resort in the World”.
Valhalla’s main lodge features a breathtaking 30-foot stone fireplace and hearth, towering above pristine hardwood floors, inviting couples and up to 130 of their loved ones to enjoy an intimate dining experience and dance the night away in the confort of an indoor/outdoor space. Two loft areas sit perched on either side of the primary dining area, providing couples with additional seating space overlooking the hearth.
Couples are also welcome to utilize two spacious get-ready rooms throughout the entirety of their special event. This gorgeous wedding venue offers couples a number of truly memorable event spaces to mark their special romantic occasion.
